The deputy speaker of the Plateau state House of Assembly Rt. Hon. Saleh Yipmong has called on the youths of Plateau state to shun drug abuse and organized crimes in society. He stated this during a 1day Seminar for Youths and Secondary School Students organized by PYC, Mangu LGA.
The Seminar which was centered on youth with a theme: “Career education/Drug abuse and menstrual hygiene Management sensitization among youths and school children”.
Hon. Yipmong while speaking at the seminar charged the youths and students to abstain themselves from the use of illicit substance as it have negative effect on the life of an individual, this negative effect will further have a multiplier effect in the society, thus causing havoc and increase crime rate. He appealed to all the students to take their studies seriously and embrace the career they wish to be in future so as to be economically productive and add value to the society.
The CWC member who is the organiser of the event, Comr. Dapip Stanley in his closing remarks appreciated the Deputy speaker for coming to grace the event.
